austin may doesn't hesitate to experiment with other styles and genres, and his newest work, dreamlike, is no exception. austin has always been committed to concept albums, and since his last release, 20 something, austin has digressed more into post-rock than anything else. dreamlike is arguably closer to 2007's chemistry than any other release, but they are still miles apart. may boldly embraces new technology and open mindedness to accompany his songwriting and approach to music. content on keeping his career as a recording musician, austin seems to take comfort in doing everything himself, with the exception of occasional help from his wife cassie with lyrics and artwork.
